Dr. Bradley Poppie, DPT, CLCP, CFCE, CSCS

Owner/CEO of Injury Reporting Consultants, LLC

Dr. Bradley Poppie founded IRC to help attorneys resolve personal injury cases through evidence-based medical analysis and reporting. That was over 20 years ago, and today he continues that work with a team of dedicated medical professionals using their knowledge to ensure fair outcomes for all parties in personal injury cases. A Denver, CO native, Dr. Poppie received a baccalaureate degree from Colorado State University in Exercise and Sport Science with a concentration in Sports Medicine and a double minor in Anatomy and Neurobiology in 1997. He earned the prestigious credential of Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association and completed a Master of Physical Therapy from Gannon University in 2000. In 2011, Dr. Poppie continued his education and received a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Colorado. Dr. Poppie is credentialed by the International Commission on Health Care Certification as a Certified Life Care Planner and by Occupro as a Certified Functional Capacity Evaluator.
Dr. Poppie has over 20 years of personal injury experience as both a treating clinician and as a retained expert in trial. He works hand-in-hand with case managers, vocational rehabilitation specialists, accident reconstructionists, independent medical doctors, and economists to provide a viable pathway for both plaintiff and defense attorneys to help obtain a fair settlement based on ethics, research, and evidence-based standards of care.

Emily Flynn

Emily Flynn, BSN, RN, CEN, LNC

Medical Report Specialist

Emily has been a legal nurse consultant since 2006. She has reviewed cases for both plaintiff and defense with rendering of her professional opinion in the specialty field of emergency nursing. She has 16 years of experience writing concise, detailed medical summaries/chronologies with abbreviations, medical terms and drugs definitions. She screens for discrepancies and missing records and can include tables. Emily has also done work with mass tort litigation and her clients have included attorneys, legal nurse consulting firms and life care planners. Emily has worked as an RN for over 31 years. She has worked in a step down unit, home health, telemetry, a cardiology office, recovery room and has 19 years in the emergency department. She worked as a charge nurse and ED supervisor. In addition to her work with Injury Reporting Consultants, she also works as an Administrative Coordinator at Naples Community Hospital, alternating between two hospitals to coordinate bed flow, is responsible for staffing grids and assists charge nurses and unit directors with conflict resolution.

Amanda Munzer, MA, CRC

Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor

Amanda Munzer MA, CRC has practiced as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor for over 15 years in the state of Colorado. A graduate of The Counseling and Rehabilitation program at the University of Iowa, Amanda has extensive experience in counseling, evaluating, and placing individuals with a variety of physical and mental health disabilities into employment.

Amanda’s background includes experience working with the Department of Veteran’s Affairs, in community mental health settings, and for Colorado’s largest worker’s compensation provider.  She has expertise in returning injured workers back to work post injury, assessing for accommodations in the workplace, identifying employment barriers, and assisting individuals in identifying appropriate vocational goals.
Amanda is able to provide expert services to include vocational counseling, vocational evaluation and assessment, transferable skills analysis, job placement, labor market research, and earning capacity evaluation.  She is excellent at providing expert opinion to courts, attorneys and private referrals and is a vocational expert witness in disability cases for the Social Security Administration’s Office of Disability Adjudication and Review.
Amanda is a current member of IARP (International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals) and is an active participant in the Rehabilitation Counseling community.

Vanessa Young, ORT/L

Medical Report Specialist

Vanessa is an occupational therapist who obtained her master’s degree from the College of Saint Mary in 2016 and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2012. Vanessa has been a practicing therapist for 7 years with combined experience in settings of acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and home health care. For the past 6 years she has developed a secondary career in the life care planning sector focused on durable medical equipment recommendations and the development of medical summaries and chronologies. She is currently in the process of obtaining her life care planning certificate from IRET to increase her working knowledge of the medical system outside of an occupational therapy standpoint.  Vanessa is a mom to an energetic two-year-old girl and infant son. She and her husband love to spend time renovating their home and enjoying time in nature with their two large Weimaraner dogs.

Shayna D. Fowler, M.H.S., CRC, CLCP

Certified Life Care Planner and Rehabilitative Consultant

Shayna D. Fowler is a distinguished Certified Life Care Planner and Rehabilitative Consultant with 23-plus years of extensive experience in life care planning and rehabilitation counseling. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with Honors and a Master of Health Science degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, both from the University of Florida. Shayna began her career under the direction of Paul M. Deutch and Associates in Oviedo, Florida, and then continued to cultivate her life care planning and vocational rehabilitation skills during her 18-year tenure at the Colorado Institute for Injury Rehabilitation in Denver, Colorado.  As a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and Certified Life Care Planner (CLCP), she’s proficient at developing comprehensive Life Care Plans for individuals of all ages with catastrophic disabilities and long-term/chronic injuries and medical conditions. With her significant background, skills, knowledge, experience, and training as a Certified Life Care Planner and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, Shayna has continued to identify and address key medical and rehabilitative care and vocational issues in order to provide expertise, consultation, and collaboration with various life care planning experts across the country.  As a key associate of Injury Reporting Consultants, Shayna conducts meticulous cost research to create individualized current and future medical and treatment recommendations and related cost projections to be documented in a Life Care Plan or Medical Cost Projection. Her dedication is evident through affiliations with the International Academy of Life Care Planners and the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals, showcasing her ongoing commitment to excellence in the field. 

Nicole Hansen

Executive Assistant

Nicole Hansen is a versatile and accomplished professional with both A.A.S. Administrative Assistant and A.A.S. Office Manager associate’s degrees from CCD. With a remarkable blend of skills, expertise, and dedication, Nicole plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operations and success of Injury Reporting Consultants. Nicole’s exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail, coupled with her passion for fostering positive relationships make her an indispensable asset to IRC. Her remarkable adaptability and prowess to navigate diverse responsibilities with grace and efficiency set her apart as a reliable and proactive professional who consistently delivers results. When she’s not hard at work, you’ll find Nicole enjoying her family as a loving wife and mother to her wonderful husband and three beautiful daughters.
